A Warm Review of Mr. Maher el Tabchy, the Founder of Tabchilli, and his fabulous enterprise in Dubai!As a couple deeply committed to healthy eating and gut health, we have successfully made kefir and sourdough bread for years. However, when it came to brewing kombucha, we felt a bit lost and unsure due to the complex terminology and processes involved. That’s when we discovered Tabchilli on Instagram and decided to visit their store in Dar Al Wasl.From the moment we stepped into the store, we were welcomed by Maher el Tabchy. His passion and willingness to share his extensive knowledge were immediately apparent. After tasting the kombucha, we were so impressed that we signed up for a workshop on the spot.The workshop at Tabchilli was an enlightening experience. It was not just a simple recipe demonstration but a comprehensive, detail-oriented class that covered various fermentation processes including kefir, kombucha, lacto-fermenting vegetables, sourdough, miso, and shoyu. Maher connects with experts in the field and organizes interactive sessions with nutrition specialists, making the workshops informative, interesting, and inspiring.Maher’s extensive coverage of the health benefits, myth-busting, and troubleshooting in fermentation was exceptional. We left the workshop with more than just jars of probiotics and fermentation tools; we walked away with enhanced confidence in our ability to ferment at home. The support from Maher and his team didn’t end there. Both Maher and Layla have been incredibly helpful, promptly responding to our queries and providing guidance long after the workshop ended.Thanks to Tabchilli, we are now enjoying delicious homemade kombucha. Delicious kimchi. Ordered 300g pot but should have ordered 2kg pack as it was consumed instantly. Very happy with the delivery too.
