I'm quite a fan of pickled foods, and this is no exception. Sauerkraut is pickled white cabbage, although it isn't pickled in vinegar, but in brine. It's just cabbage, salt, and water, fermented to perfection. Taste wise, it's as you would imagine. It's pickled cabbage. If you don't like cabbage, then this is probably not for you. There's nothing sweet about it. It has a sharp, slightly acidic taste. Unsurprisingly popular now coz it’s probiotic pack and good for our gut microbiome. Overall, this is a tasty side dish. Perfect with a salad, or a sausage, or indeed, any meat dish. And I can’t stop indulging on it while enjoying my every meal. I also bought kimchi and they gave as well complimentary super hot sauce which I really like coz it will add little kick on every food. And the packaging so enticing and classy.. presentation of their products superb as well.. it’s all worth every penny. I hope you found this review helpful

Maher has a special talent - bringing people together through the love of fermentation. His workshop was the perfect fusion of educational and fun, allowing participants to walk home with two gorgeous creations, that I happily snacked on for months to follow. I couldn’t recommend this workshop more, along with his genius fermented chilli pastes - that go unbelievably well with almost everything !!!

Maher and his team were fantastic. I went to the kombucha making class and found it incredibly informative! Maher took his time to explain things really clearly and also made sure we were equipped to make our first batch in class as well as our second ferment at home!To top it all off, we ended class by trying all the amazing fermented goods made in store. Maher, the founder of Tabchilli, let us try a number of different products and spent so much time with us explaining his products and processes. If you are looking for healthy food, great energy and a place with much detail - Tabchilli is your place to be. I so enjoyed the workshop with Maher - having brewed my own Kombucha years back I just wanted to get a reminder on the process and I def got out so much more. The insights shared also on conventional prodcuts and what to look out for - love it !!! Can't wait to learn how to do Kimchi !!! Here is my 2nd and 3rd batch !!! Great fermentation course! Very instructive. Learning topics very well prepared and conveyed. A super interesting topic with the right bacteria, at the right temperature and time to ferment. Not difficult with this process thaught. I really enjoyed the class and our Kimchi and Sourkraut turned out delicious. Thank you Maher and Laila.

Love this place!! Fermented chili paste and the wild brine are my absolute favorites. They are delicious with meats, veggies even rice. You can tell the true difference of fermentation. Love everything about Tabchili. A personalized experience that takes you on a journey of flavors. Maher taught me a lot about the fermentation process, something I thought only existed in biology books. The tabchili paste is such a delight. I add almost to everything now when I cook. If you're in Dubai, do yourself a favor and visit Maher, you will leave with a smile knowing all about those hot stuff!

This was a great experience. It’s been a long time for me to find such a class and it didn’t disappoint.Do not rely on YouTube, take this course. It was good to be able to ask questions, to go through and do each of the steps of making your first brew.Being given start up equipment and a scoby was just such a good added extra.Also, after the class, the after care is Brillant. Answering any questions or concerns you have while continuing with your journey.A great community to belong to.

An amazing workshop that’s a must for everyone. Maher is a brilliant teacher! He explains the science behind fermentation in a very simple and easy way. Unique and valuable experience. Maher gave us a thorough introduction to fermentation, giving a good background to its benefits and the science behind it all. Then, when we got to making the kimchi and hot sauce, instructions were very clear and it was so fun! We were provided with all the necessary materials to carry on the experience at home, even getting personalised assistance form Maher directly afterwards. Such a great experience.

I had the pleasure in doing the fermentation workshop/ Kimchi & hot sauce. Maher was very knowledgeable and professional in conducting the workshop and could tell that he is very passionate about the subject. It was very well organised and everything was neat and clean. The result is an amazing Kimchi, better than I've had in many restaurants, and the hot sauce was great also with more depth in the taste ( not just spicy) . Looking forward to making bigger batches .
